Skiing is king

A vast choice of routes of different durations and difficulties offer spectacular descents, frequently in feather-light and virgin snow.

Ideal period: from December to April

Ski and snowboard routes:

The four main massifs:

- Massif of the Pointe Ronde: situated south-east of the Col de la Forclaz

- Massif of the Aiguilles du Tour – Trient glacier

- Massif of the Aiguille de Balme (Croix de Fer), the highest point of the valley. Beautiful descents running alongside the border with the Chamonix     valley.
